Meet Our Judges Here! You can volunteer, too!
To volunteer, you must feel you live in the fast lane - if you think you live there, then you probably do.
Each judge must:
1. read or view every submission in the category you are judging.
2. evaluate the submissions according to this criteria:
a) Originality - 25 points
b) Humor - 25 points
c) Quality - 25 points
d) Sense of truth - 25 points
The scale for awarding points within the criteria are:
0-5 points - poor
6-10 points - fair
11-15 points - good
16-20 points - excellent
21-25 points - extraordinary
3. Complete her/his judging by March 2, 2007 and e-mail results to Karen Quinn, who will average the scores of the judges and declare the top ten submissions in each category.
4. In the event of a tie, Karen will follow the tie-breaking procedure explained in the Official Rules.
Wife in the Fast Lane can accept a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 30 volunteer judges. If you are accepted as a judge, Karen will be in touch with you. If there are no more judging spots available, we will let you know that as well. See Official Rules.
Each judge will receive a signed copy of Karen Quinn’s Wife in the Fast Lane.
